

Kay was the owner and operator of Kay’s Garden Center. She was proud to be the 1st woman in Illinois to have tested and earned the 'Illinois Tree Expert license'. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Belleville. Kay was lovingly known to many as Grandma, as well as “Supermom” to others that knew her and loved her.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Gale Jones; a daughter, Nancy Whitworth; her parents, John D. and Nora, nee Tucker, Perdue; and a son-In-law, Mel Ravenscraft.
Surviving are her loving and devoted children; son, C. John (Suzy) Hudson, daughters; Jeannie (Dan) Van Hoose, Brenda Ravenscraft, Gail Jones-Johnson and Sheryl (John) Dodson; grandchildren, John D. Hudson, Dan Van Hoose, Jr., Brad Van Hoose, Denise Wellinghoff, Babs Dunaway, Kelli Black, Michael Schupp, Kayla Ravenscraft, Heather Orr, Christopher Whitworth, Brendan Whitworth, Derek Dodson, Dylan Dodson, and Devin Dodson; 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Milford officiating.
Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
