Eleanor Elaine Grinde, age 73, passed away at her home in Bellevue, on January 30, 2014. She was born Eleanor Elaine Tregilgus, on April 3, 1940, at Kirkland Hospital, to Eva and John. She is survived by her sister Edith Sacher, her brother John Tregilgus, her 4 children Ron Grinde, Lynn Barker, Darlene Grinde, Vickie Elwell, and her two stepsons Don, and Dan Grinde. She has 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She was an avid Seattle sports fan, had a great sense of humor, and loved to read, and take road trips. She was a selfless, caring mother, never complaining about her trials. A patient, kind soul, who touched many peoples lives. She was small in stature with a giant will to live, and enjoyed the simple things in life. She is preceded in death by her brother Melvin, her mother and father, and her husband of 36 years, Laverne Grinde. We will miss you dearly (Mom/Sis/Ellie/Auntie/Grandma). Service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, WA., on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Cedar Lawns Memorial Park in Redmond, WA.Arrangements under the direction of Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Bellevue, WA.
