Ethel would live in Albuquerque New Mexico, Washington DC and Seattle Washington.
Spending many of her professional years with the Federal Government, Ethel retired as an EEOC Investigator for the FAA.
As for her play time, she and her husband Emmett, would become avid boaters! Many a weekend and evening was spent on their boat (the Ethel T). Between long boating trips and entertaining friends and family at her home, Ethel also found time to raise two sons, earn her Masters in Business, and obtain an airplane pilot’s license!
Before moving back to Albuquerque in 2017, Ethel was actively involved in the Bellevue Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta, New Beginnings Christian Church, The Challengers Bridge Club, and the Central Area Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wash and Eddie Mae Williams, and her siblings Wash Jr, Lee, and Frank.
She is survived by her sons, Robbie and Emmett.
The family would like to thank Francine Jones of Albuquerque New Mexico for the care and compassion she showed to Ethel in her final days.
