Jacques Christiaan Bosman

Jacques Christiaan Bosman, age 28, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. Born on December 20, 1985 in Sandton, South Africa, he moved to the United States with his parents and older brother when he was 11 years old. He graduated from Solon High School near Cleveland, Ohio Class Of 2004. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York Class of 2008. After graduation they settled near Seattle, WA as he started a job with Microsoft. They found a grace-filled church family at Mars Hill in Bellevue. He is survived by his wife Julia, three-year-old son Titus, parents Johannes and Sophia Bosman, brother Charl, mother-in-law Irina Gurariy, sisters-in-law, grandmother Dorie, grandparents-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends . Jacques loved the Lord above all else and sought for others to know Him. He gave his heart to the Lord at the age of 7 and was eventually baptized at Parkside Church in Solon, Ohio. Jacques was a cherishing husband, a devoted father, a very loving son and brother, a humble leader, a gentle friend, and Jacques worked hard at all that he did. He would have wanted his memory to be celebrated and most of all for his life and his death to point to Christ and His fully sufficient atonement. His family, although mourning their loss, have hope that he is at peace with his Heavenly Father.
