Jennifer Starr MALEAN Jennifer Starr Malean, age 26, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. A sunshine of a person, Jen's smile touched everyone she came into contact with and won their hearts. A driven young woman, Jen had recently moved to Colorado to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Hiking, exercise, volunteering, and spending time with friends were among her favorite activities. Many people know and remember Jen as their favorite barista, the one to always make you laugh and as a bright part of their every day. She will be greatly missed. Jen is survived by her mother, Kris Malean, of Grand Junction, CO; her father, Edward George, of Burlington, WA; her brothers, Eddie and Brian George, of Burlington, WA; her Grandparents, Starr and Irene Malean, of Grand Junction, CO; and Tom and Mary Johnson, of Burlinton, WA and numerous friends and relatives who will miss her deeply. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue. Memorials in Jen's name are suggested to: Homeward Bound Homeless Shelter of Grand Junction www.homewardboundgj.org where she spent her time volunteering.
