

Judy Dianne (Stahl) Clifton passed away peacefully at her home in Bellevue, Washington and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on September 17, 2017. Judy was born in Boise, Idaho on September 20, 1939 to Chester and Gwendolyn (Nelson) Stahl. It was in the seventh grade that Judy met the love of her life, Jerry Clifton. Together they graduated from Boise High School (’57), University of Idaho (’61) and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Judy worked as a Human Resource Manager at Proctor & Associates and Lockheed Martin. During retirement, Judy and Jerry enjoyed numerous travels with family throughout Eastern and Western Europe, South America, Galápagos Islands, Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Montana and Hawai’i. Judy was an incredibly kind, compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend with a warm smile and a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy is survived by her husband Jerry, son David “Scott” (Debbie) Clifton, daughter Debra Kay (Jeff) Anderson, Sister Linda Horn, four grandchildren: Brittney and Blake Clifton and Parker and Taylor Beth Anderson, mother-in-law Ruby (Mair) Clifton (101 years old), in-laws Chuck and Frances Clifton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Judy’s two granddaughters, donations may be made to Children’s Tumor Foundation (ctf.org) or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org).
