

Lim, Kim Hun, 84, passed away September 25, 2013 at Evergreen Hospice due to kidney disease. Kim was born July 8, 1929 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She was a business owner with her beloved husband Ung, Iev Ngy prior to April 1975, suffered in the Khmer Rouge Regime from 1975 to 1980 and survived the Killing Field in Cambodia. Escaped to Thai’s Refugee Camp and stayed there from 1980 to 1981 until transferred to the Philippine Island for 6 months before immigrated to Seattle, WA on June 29, 1981. Graduated out of Edmonds Community College as a seamstress. Kim enjoyed sewing, of course, helping others, doing charity work and gardening. Kim was a kind and honest lady who loved life and cherished family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kim is survived by her five children, Thong Ung (oldest son in SeaTac, WA), Wong, Sze Shan (2nd son in Hong Kong), Wong, Sze Khoun (3rd son in China), Sophia Ung (daughter in Issaquah, WA) and Henry Ung (youngest son in Lynnwood, WA), 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Kim was lovingly cared for by her daughter Sophia and her husband Jason Sorenson at their lovely home in Issaquah and her final 7 days were at the Evergreen Hospice Home in Kirkland.
