Robert (Bob) Steele, 78, passed away Monday, September 6 after fighting metastasized melanoma cancer for several months. He was born September 29, 1942, in Santa Barbara, California and spent the first half of his life in Southern California. He held a Bachelor Degree from California State College Fresno and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Bob was CEO/Owner of Pioneer Packaging in Kent, WA, which he founded in 1984. Chris and all three children work for Pioneer Packaging, so it is truly a family business. Bob loved baseball, basketball and auto racing and treasured any time he could get near a warm ocean.
