Rosemary owned her own business managing executive suites in the city and proved successful, she opened additional locations in Palm Springs and Scottsdale. Nick “Chief” Giardina worked for the Bellevue Police Department. The couple were blessed with two children, Nick (Jards) Jr. and Christine.
In 1980 the couple moved to sunny Scottsdale followed by a move to Henderson Nevada where they enjoyed several years of earned retirement, playing golf and finding the right “tax guy” for casino winnings!
In 2020 the couple were in their 90’s and decided to move home to Washington to be close to family. They settled in Woodinville.
Rosemary is a devout Catholic and says her purpose is “to live the life God gave me and to see it through.”
Found written, “When I come to the end of my journey and I’ve traveled my last weary smile, just forget if you can, that I ever frowned. Forget unkind words I have spoken, remember some good I’ve done. Forget I ever had heartache rather know I’ve had loads of fun! Forget I’ve stumbled and blundered and so etiquette fell by the way. Remember I have fought some very hard battles and won at the close of the day. Forget to grieve my going. I would not have you sad for even one day. In summer just gather some flowers and remember the place that I lay. Come see me in the evening when the sun paints the sky in the west…. Stand just a few moments beside me and remember only my best. Most of all remember my love for you for eternity.”
Rosemary was preceded in death by her son Nick Jr., daughter Christine and her husband of 73 years, Nick Sr. She is survived by one son in law (Herb) three granddaughters, (Tammy, Nicole & Shannon) three husbands of granddaughters ( Juan, Jay & Tim) six great- grandkids. (Jackson, Sophie, Kai, Lola, Conner & Michael).
She absolutely lived her best life and followed it through… Amen.
