I knew Wade during my volunteering days at Evergreen hospital.

I volunteered with Wade many years ago at Evergreen Hospital.  He would say I trained him, but he far surpassed me in his dedication and hours served!  He called me Linda Latte :)   We shared many laughs together.  He was a faithful volunteer and he enjoyed it very much.  I have fond memories of volunteering alongside him. Wade and I were classmates and friends in school in the thirties and I am sorry to learn of his passing

Wade volunteered at EvergreenHealth from 1998 to 2006 and accumulated over 6000 hours of volunteer service. We appreciated everything he did for EvergreenHealth and all the people he helped. He was one of the most loved volunteers, everyone enjoyed his humor and kindness and consistent support to the patients and family members at EvergreenHealth.

I remember the times when Wade would drive some of the kids from the West Side Baptist Church in Wichita down to Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma for a summer camp. It still amazes me how he could stay so calm around all those rowdy kids. We still remember him after all those years!

My last conversation with him was the day before I left for Vietnam. He was a wise and gentle man!
