Daddy, 

If you only knew the pain that dwells within the pit of my heart, and I am not trying to be selfish as I know you are in Paradise with the Most Beautiful Angel (Mommy) but I can't endure this emptiness that is inside of me, I think of you every single day and I miss you so very much, I remember all the moments we shared all the conversations the laughs the jokes the great advice provided by your enduring knowledge as no other, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE NOT HERE!!!  I am sorry my, heart hurts when I remember that fact.  I talk to you all the time, I feel you around us, but it is and will never be the same.  As much as I always considered myself to be strong in this, I will ALWAYS be weak. I love and miss you every single moment that I breathe - you are and were my strength but the thought of knowing that you are and were My "Daddy" gives me great Joy.   Till our next conversation. Daddy , tantas cosas quisiera escribirte , tantas cosas que pasan por mi mente todos los días. Cada día el dolor de tu partida sigue presente, latente , duele mucho , muchísimo , todo el día, todos los días. 
Quisiera que estuvieras aquí daddy…..!!!!!!! Aun no entiendo por qué te fuiste , aun siento que llegare a la casa y allí estarás sentado en tu silla, viendo Andy griffin 😭 
Siento tu presencia en todas partes , huelo tu perfume por toda la casa …..

I thought of you today but that is nothing new because I thought of you yesterday and the days before that too. I think if you in silence and I often speak your name and all I have are memories and your picture in a frame, Your memory is a keepsake from which I will never part, God has you in his arms but I have you in my heart.

Daddy, I wish I could see you one more time come walking through the door and hear your voice. I know you can feel my tears and you don't want to see me cry yet my heart is broken because I can't understand why you and mommy had to go. So may things I still want to say like how special you always made me feel and how much I learned from our conversations, how grateful I am to have had you both as parents and no matter how old I got I never stopped needing you or how you always made us laugh with your silly songs and jokes or the fact that I never ever heard you say a bad word or how strong you always were or how I always felt like I can always turn to you for anything and everything that could be happening to me or the faith you had in God. The moment that you left my heart was split in two, one side was filled with memories and the other died with you. I often lie awake at night with tears in my eyes. Remembering you is easy because I do it every day but missing is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I pray that God will give me strength and somehow get me through because life has gone on without you but will never be the same. Death changes everything and time changes nothing, I miss the sound of your voice, the wisdom in your advice, the stories of your life and just being in your presence, so no time changes nothing because I miss you both as much today as I did yesterday and the days before, I just miss you!!!

Daddy I believe you can hear me  when I say “I miss you , so so much !! And I will miss you forever. When I tell you how much I love you and I always will , I believe you are with me , I believe love ❤️ travels through eternity…. God gave me the opportunity to be with you 🙏, to have you by my side for the past years and I thank the Lord immensely for that !!🙏.  I know you want me to be happy, you always wanted to make me happy , you just didn’t say I had to be happy without you by my side     I will always hold you in my heart , in my soul , and there you will be until the day shall come, that I see you both again     I miss you more than words can say !!! 😞. Daddy, as I sit here to find the strength to write these words I can't help but to feel the extreme sadness and emptiness I feel now that you and mommy are no longer here. It has taken me forever to do this and I guess it was just because I have been in complete denial of all that has happened, like it has been a terrible nightmare and I will wake up at any moment and you will be here but then I face the harsh reality that you are no longer here. The pain I feel knowing that I can't see or talk to you in person is so great and the thing is that I am supposed to be an adult now but with both of you gone I honestly feel like a scared five year old little girl who has become an orphan and even though I know I am surrounded by family I have never in my life have felt so alone as I have felt these past couple of months. What can I say to you now that I should have said when you were here. I have so many regrets of things that I wish I could have done more with you and things that should have been said but I also hold in my heart and soul so many wonderful memories of you and mommy and the way that you never left us wanting for anything or the fact that I knew and felt how much you both loved all of us.  It's funny how when you were still here it was easy to still think of hard times and mistakes made but now that you are gone those things fade away and all I am left with are the happy moments. I hope you knew how much I loved and love you, how much I appreciate and value everything you taught me and how hard you worked to provide for all of us. I hope you know how much you are missed. I really hope that I can live a life that will make you proud and that I can show Amanda the same amount of love that you always showed us. You were and always will be my hero and when I think of you my heart fills with pride and I know that you will always be by my side. 

Daddy , how can I put into words all that I’m feeling 💔❤️‍🩹 .  How can I put into words that my heart is broken 💔😞, because the moment that you were gone , my heart was torn in two, one side filled with heartache, and the other died with you ..😞😢.  I lie awake at night and with tears in my eyes I ask God , why ???  I’m sorry Daddy, I just don’t understand…., It wasn’t time !!  So many talks , so many plans that didn’t even began.   You gave so much, you taught me much more , you just didn’t teach me how to survive without you..😞😢😢.                                                                     It seems impossible to go on, Mommy left and now you did , my life seems to be crumbling beneath me …   Everything that is said : to give it time ? But time , changes Nothing !!!!   I know you recently left , yet I feel a thousand years of pain …😞.                   I watched you suffer, and I saw you pass, but all I could do , was sit close by .. You went away , God eased your pain, but broke my heart 💔.      I miss you already Daddy, I miss you so much !  Everything about you, your hugs , your love , all of you    I would do anything just to be with you a little more time , to hug you , to have you hold me in your arms and hear your voice one more time , just one more time ❤️    It just has been so hard to wake up every morning knowing that you are not with us anymore, 😞. Our world is incomplete without you… I miss our drives every day, our long talks , and our silent moments together, just being with you , knowing you were there  meant the world to me …      I miss you every day , every moment, every hour , the closeness we shared ..    My Daddy, my wonderful Daddy, your little girl is lost and confused without you 😞😢.     I miss your arms around me , making me feel home and safe .., Since you’ve been gone , nothing seems the same . Life is a constant battle and I feel like I’m loosing control, I wake up every morning wishing it wasn’t real 😞😞.  

Each day you strived to live, your body too weak to be, your love will live forever since your heart has set you free. Now you walk so bravely and you feel the pain no more, angels have come to guide you and bring you to Heaven's door, Memories we will hold so dearly, your smile warmed our hearts and through our lives you will live, you've touched so many parts.  Hard days may be before us, it's all a part of God's plan, why you left so soon we will never understand. You will be alone no longer and you would probably tell us "don't be sad". Please believe you were no burden and we will always love you dad. Our lives have changed forever since the day you passed away, in Heaven you will be waiting to meet us again someday.

I’ve been avoiding this … it makes it too REAL and I don’t know how I can keep going without the 2 people that I would’ve given my life for. I miss you and you know that you and Mmy are always in my mind and in my heart … There are not enough words in this life time to show how grateful I am for everything you taught me , your strength will be my comfort…. Your incredible strength I always that you were  super dad!!!! There was nothing you couldn’t do or wouldn’t do …. I have so many wonderful  memories of you, all I have to do, is close my eyes and your there with me again   … the moments and conversations that I will cherish in my heart  for the rest of my life 
Daddy  you were and forever will be the best father I could’ve wished for… 

Daddy, my dear Daddy  you were one in a million , with a heart  of gold .. God made you with extra care   You were unshakable by any pain , until we lost you , in your life’s battle, you fought to the end  I’m sorry for not wanting to let you go. I’m so sorry .                                       You were and are the greatest ..I Think of you every day, I drink my coffee with you, like we did every morning, our   “Coffee Time”   Even though it is still very painful  the reality of not seeing you every day, all our memories make me strong, you and mommy taught us not to give up and to be strong, I just should tell you that it’s not easy, but I am really trying, with the example of you both , always strong , mind , body and soul..        my mind knows you are in a better place, where there is no pain and you are both at peace, I understand that, I just wish I could explain it to my broken heart , there is an empty space in it,  that nothing and no one will ever fill .    I grieve, I cry, but I know my tears are only me for me.      My love is with you always, every day, every moment    Thank you for all our special times, trips, moments…. Hola DADDY!!                                                         Me duele mucho, muchísimo  que ya no estes a mi lado , con nosotros .                                   Hubiera deseado tanto poder convivir mucho más tiempo contigo, .       Todo lo que vivimos y compartimos juntos fue maravilloso ,  pero no me fue suficiente .  El tiempo no perdono , no se detuvo  y Diosito te llevo a un mejor lugar , al paraíso                               Se que con Mami Blanquita y eso me hace sentir mejor     Que estén juntos los dos , con mucho amor , que siempre los unió y con mucha paz ! Cerca de Dios !!!                                                                                           Ya tengo 2 Angelitos  en el cielo , que se me cuidarán !                                                                        Sabemos Daddy que esté no es un adiós definitivo, sino un hasta pronto!                            Me quedo con tantos recuerdos , tantos momentos compartidos , tantos consejos que me diste , que tengo tus palabras grabadas en mi pensamiento.. My grandfather Gail was a big inspiration to me. He was such a carrying person, very intelligent, and hard working. I will never forget what he did for me and the rest of the family that he loved. I will cherish all the great memories I got to spend with you and especially the times we all got together as a family to go to Me-n-Ed's. I will continue to go in your honor and have a pitcher of Budweiser. It will be very difficult to know that you are no longer with us, but I will never forget you and will make sure my children and grand children know the wonderful person you were. I will miss you always. Thank you for all the great memories.

     I am so alone with out you!! I don't understand, WHY!!!! 

Sometimes I wonder what I would say if we ad just one more day.

     Would I tell you news from home? Would I ask you where you
now roam?  Would I tell you all the things unsaid? The guilts and 
regrets still in my head? Would I want to know that you're ok? Beg
you PLEASE to come back and stay? Would I not say all that much?
And just reach out for one last touch? I don't know what I would say?
But I do sure wish for that one more day!!!!!

Daddy, it is still very hard for us to know the you are gone but we know that you are not in pain anymore, you are up in heaven with our lord and savior and with Mommy.  Daddy I want to hug you and give you a kiss and just hear your voice one more time. I very happy and honored to have had a grandfather like you, strong , hard working, smart, independent.  I have so many beautiful memories with you and will never forget.  Thank you for everything that you have done for me. I love you so much. Until we meet again & give mommy a hug and kiss from all of us. We all miss you both. 

I thank God that I had the privelege of knowing Mr. Gail as my father-in-law.  He was always a very respectful and truly wise gentelman. I know that he is beside his beautiful wife in heaven and we will meet again one day.

I wish I had one last chance to say I love you and it makes me sad that I can't. Thank you for always loving me and taking me to a lot of places, they are memories that I will take with me forever. One of my favorites is you knocking on Aunt Connie's door saying "coffee time" . I know that you are resting with mommy now and that I will see you again one day to tell you how much I love you.

El tiempo que lo conocí fue mágico , fuimos familia!!!   Usted fue de las personas que entregan todo sin esperar nada a cambio, que lo daba todo sin quejarse. Dejo su amor plantado en todos lados donde paso.

Dad, the sadness I feel is immeasurable. There was so much left to do. That said, I couldn't have been more blessed to have had you as my father. The valuable things I learned from you will be handed down to both Santi and Gio as they will help them become better and stronger as they grow up. I'm happy you were able to spend time with both the boys and I'll cherish the moments you spent with them as much as I cherish the time I had with you. Rest easy dad. You and mom are together again. Daddy, Asi te decía…,  te doy las gracias por tu cariño y grandes momentos en la vida que disfrute contigo.
Nos duele tu partida, nos duele saber que ya no estás. Sabiendo que estás al lado de Dios y que de nosotros cuidaras. Alienta nuestras almas y corazones, te recordaremos con amor.

No existen palabras para describir lo mucho que lamento su pérdida.  Ruego a Dios para que les brinde el verdadero consuelo que solo el puede conceder a los corazones afligidos. Mi mas sentido pésame a toda la familia.

I still can't process that daddy is gone and it breaks my heart, but I know that he is in a better place with Mommy watching down on all of us. I'll never forget the day we were in Morelia and he called me to his room with Amanda just to see what we were doing. Amanda walked in with a fish and Daddy wanted to see it, he grabbed it and stuck his finger in there (the one that he had cut off ). He made it seem like the fish bit off his finger which was the funniest thing I've ever seen, Ive never seen daddy laugh so hard. I love you daddy so much and I know you are with me always and forever. 

Daddy, I want to start this off by saying thank you for being a great grandfather. You have always been so loving, caring & a great example. A great man overall. I’ll always carry you in my heart and cherish our memories. 

I wasn't ready for you to go

Gail and I met over 50 years ago. From that first meeting we continued our friendship.  Both of our businesses grew along with our families. Never a bad thought came between us.  I remember he would always buy my old business trucks when I was through with them  so I decided to take him with me when I went to buy a new one to make sure he liked the color and the equipment on it!
Things like that made up our friendship.
He will be missed.  I can vision him pouring a new concrete walkway up to the Goldengates on his way into heaven to be with Blanca once again...



Cada momento tan especial que compartimos con usted mi amigo Gail Parrish fueron de muchísima enseñanza y de una fuerza grande por salir bien en cada prueba que Dios le puso…
Además de disfrutar de su compañía y cariño fue para mí aprender, aprender a darle sentido a la vida con el amor que usted nos regaló junto a sus hijos y esposa…
Tuve el privilegio de estar no una sino varias veces ahí para darme cuenta lo valioso que usted será eternamente…
Desde el cielo usted nos seguirá llenando de esa fuerza y cariño incondicional, gracias por todo y hasta muy pronto…
