

In her early life, Evelyn worked for Civil Air Patrol for several years. She then went on to work as a security guard, and then as a PMDC for Walmart in her later years. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, tending to her houseplants, and cooking delicious meals for her family. She was a lover of all animals, and she was known to take in any stray that she found. Evelyn was married to her husband, Bobby, on September 29, 1989, and for almost 33 years they loved one another and raised a wonderful family together. Evelyn lived a long, fulfilled life and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Evelyn is preceded in death by: her parents, Ezra David King and Josephine Evelyn King; and one sister, Flora Gertrude Hanners.
She is survived by: her husband, Bobby Crespin; sons, Robert Crespin Jr. of Arizona, Eric Crespin of Arizona, Matthew Crespin of Arizona, Steven Lanham of Texas, and Terry Don Taylor of Avoca; daughters, Tricia Crespin of San Diego, Rita Faye Merryman of Washburn, MO, Sherry Dawn Wright of Green Forest, AR, and Lisa Gayle Hughes of Maysville, AR; brother, David King of Kansas City, MO; sisters, N. Jane Scates of Bentonville, and Leona Burden of Carlisle, PA. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 24 at Fayetteville National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
