Gene Pruitt

Neria Eugene“Gene” Pruitt, age 71 of Bentonville , AR , passed away on November 7th, 2011 in Springdale , AR. He was born July 11, 1940 in Kansas City , MO to the late Neria Homer and Maybelle Beaver Pruitt.

Gene moved to Benton County in 1961 where he met and married Saundra Mitchell. Gene worked heavy equipment most of his life. He worked hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed gardening and fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife Saundra Pruitt of Bentonville, AR, 3 sons; Randy Dale Pruitt and his wife Sandy of Bella Vista, AR, Shawn Mitchell Pruitt and his wife Michelle of Bentonville, AR, Scott Eugene Pruitt of Daytona Beach, FL, 2 daughters; Donna Maye Sanders and her husband Gary of Rogers, AR, Katherine Gayle Kirkland and her husband Chuck of Bentonville, AR , 3 sisters; Mary Ellen Harrison of Hot Springs, AR, Ella Mae Lowe of Kearney, MO, Alice Faye Waldron of Springfield, MO, 10 Grandchildren; Julie and Michael Aye, Jeffery and Nalyn Sanders, Andy and Hayley Pruitt, Mitch and Brittany Pruitt, Debra and Matt Patton, Sarah Kirkland, Quentin Kirkland, Sydney Pruitt, Shawna Pruitt, Shelby Pruitt and 5 Great-Grandchildren; Kendra Patton, Joseph and Ethan Sanders and Macy and Koby Aye.
