Hilde Welch

Hilde was born in 1938 in Zeilsheim, Germany to the parents of Emma and Johann Gruneisl. She was proud of her German heritage and even more proud of becoming an American citizen. She worked hard to pass the citizenship test and was well versed in US History.

Hilde is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Welch, US Army retired, Vietnam War Veteran. They were married at a small ceremony in Baumholder Germany on March 13, 1959. Now reunited in heaven after the death of her husband in 2015.

Hilde is survived by her four children; John Welch (Kriftel, Germany), Charles Welch Jr. (Osage Beach, MO) Randy Welch (Enterprise, AL.) and Collette Welch (Bentonville, AR). Her 8 grandchildren: Randy Welch, Richard Welch, Eli Welch, Ashby Welch, Sofia Welch, Victoria Welch, Emma Welch and Polina Welch.
