James "Mitch" Mitchell Whiddon

Anyone with the pleasure of being in Mitch's orbit knew that he was a force of nature, with an infectious energy and always had a laugh to share. Over a career of more than four decades of designing and building buildings, including laying bricks and running his own Business in Texas and with other Projects all over the U.S., his towering creative contributions and unrivaled skills and talent were that of unparalleled excellence….and they always started with some kind of wild story.

It was this commitment, along with his steadfast Love for his Family that drove him to success in all aspects of his life…..and he will be missed dearly.

Though his earthly body may have passed, Mitch’s spirit will live on forever and the light he brought forth. Leave it to him to turn the Afterlife into his next Big Project.

Mitch is survived by his loving wife, Connie; Sons, Alex and Quincey, Daughters, Courtney and Rachel, in Law Quinn, Brother in Law Kinney Grandson Lyric, Granddaughter Grace, Sisters Gail and Peggy, his Brothers, Douglas, Mike and Mark and cherished Pets, Biscuit and Sonny.

The family thanks everyone for their love & support, and there will be a Party in his honor next year….and we’ll let everyone know so we can all raise a glass to Mitch!
