Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Larry graduated from Robinsdale High School then served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969 with two tours in Vietnam. He was a master carpenter and Education Officer of the Anoka Carpenter’s Union. The Falk Family moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1982 establishing his family business, remodeling homes and businesses in Bella Vista and Bentonville. Notable craftsmanship included construction of Prince’s deck and remodeling Sam Walton’s home. A 22-year volunteer at Bentonville Helping Hands, he would often gather with friends at the nearby coffee shop, now Zary’s Acropolis. Larry enjoyed building birdhouses (a notable stop on Bentonville City Tours), gardening, and working in the yard. He died on Sunday, May 14, 2023, and is survived by his wife Renita, children Kari and Arlan, brother Kent, and sister Shari.
