Margorie Gail Power was born October 18, 1942 and passed away on July 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Power and her parents, Floyd and Catherine (Brock) Dorsey. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Ali) and Mark (BJ) Power and her grandchildren Ian, Noah, Charlie Isobel, and Daniel and Brother-in-law, Danny Power.
Gail attended Ouachita Baptist University where she studied education and from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she received her Master’s degree in education. She taught elementary school for years and after retirement worked the Noah’s Ark preschool program at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville.
She took joy in life and in working with children, often looking her happiest when in her rocking chair with kids coming up to her for their Mrs Gail time. Her influence will be missed by many and her legacy lives on in the children whose lives she had an impact on.
