He was born September 20, 1950 in Lead Hill, Arkansas to Amos McKinley Clarkson and Virginia Vee Rogers Clarkson.
Steve proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army and was also a Life Member of the National Rifle Association. Although he loved antique cars and going to swap-meets or flea-markets, he adored his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include 3 daughters, Hilarie Dodd and Micah Myers of Bentonville and Charity Thornhill of Rogers and by 3 grandchildren, Gabby Thornhill, Haley Thornhill and Zoey Brecheen. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday August 22nd from 6-8 pm at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, 605 West Central Ave in Bentonville, Arkansas. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday August 23rd at Bentonville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
