Susan Shane Kimball

Susan (Breitkreutz) Kimball peacefully passed away February 7, 2022. Susan was born June 27, 1941 in Granite Falls, Minnesota to Wauneitta and Adolf Breitkreutz. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carl Kimball of Bella Vista, AR, her daughter Kristin Ferretti of Dover, NH, grandsons Luke Ferretti of Eureka Springs, AR and Jack Ferretti of Denver, CO and sister Sara Brown of Evansville, IN. After graduating from Rolla, MO High School, Susan earned multiple degrees with honors from Central Missouri State University and the University of Delaware. She was a teacher and author but took her greatest pride in loving and supporting her family. She enjoyed many friends, reading, nature and traveling the world. Her father was a career army officer and she frequently moved and lived in many places growing up, including Minnesota, Germany and Missouri. She continued frequent moves following her marriage, living in Delaware, Indiana, Ohio, Kansas, Colorado, California and Hawaii. Prior to her recent move to Bella Vista, she spent her previous thirty years commuting between her homes in the Colorado mountains and the beaches of Maui. She is loved very much and will be greatly missed.
