Alice L Wajda

Alice Lorella “Nana” Wajda, 87, was met by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ along with friends and family awaiting her in Heaven on October 21, 2010. She was born August 13, 1923 in Briartown, OK. Nana was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Zora Walls; husband, Edward Wajda; and 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She served in the Cadet Corp. and went on to become a Registered Nurse. Nana met Edward through writing letters of encouragement to service men. They were married on December 23, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK. Nana worked in various hospitals and eventually for Dr. Garrison in Pediatrics for 10 years until she retired. She also dedicated her life in taking care of all of those around her. She is survived by her two children, Sharon Pickens of OKC and Frank Wajda and Rhonda of OKC; grandchild, Shane Pickens, and her great-grandchildren, Ty, Cole, Jett, Taylor, Mercedes and her husband Kyler Jacobs, and a great-great-grandchild Parker; grandchildren, Tammi and her husband Shane Dodson, and great-grandchildren Samuel, Jonathan, and Mackenzie; grandchildren, Tari and her husband Russell Cleary, and two great-grandchildren Lauren and Clayton; grandchild, Shari Wajda, and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Tristen; grandchild, David Wajda, and a great-grandchild Abigail; grandchildren, Delyn and her husband Kennie Schwab, and five great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Curtis, Kevin, Ronnie, and Heather Wajda, and a great-great grandchild Kaden; grandchildren, Tony and his wife Jana Fee, and five great-grandchildren, Zach, Yana, Reuben, Eddie and his wife Christina Fee, and a great-great-grandchild, Ashton; grandchild, Berry Fee, and three great-grandchildren, Barry Jr., Kristin, and Kayla; brother-in-law Louie Wajda and his wife Vivian and their family; and sister-in-law Carol Walls and family; Bea and Charles, Bubby and Joan, Larry and Tootie, Hersh and Inez, Rowena, Connie, and other nieces and nephews.
