Barbara Joy Raines passed away December 20, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 84. Barbara was born in Oklahoma City on July 13, 1939 to Marvin and Florence Gales. She was a lifelong resident of the Oklahoma City and Bethany area. Barbara worked at Little Giant Pump Company and retired after 32 years of service. She had many interests, like gardening, working in her flower beds and taking care of her peonies. She loved her family and looked forward to going to the grandkids events. She also had a special bond and love for her dogs. She was an avid supporter of Race for the Cure. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Donna Moran, brother Jack Gales, and sister Twala Pickens. She is survived by two daughters Debbie Preble and husband Randy, Donna Joy Eades, her sister Mary Denney, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
