

Charles E. Griffith “C.E.” “Eddie” “PaPa”, age 97 of El Reno, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2025 with his granddaughter, LeslieLee Harrison, grandson, Eddie Wayne Harrison, great grandson, DaemynLee Malachi Reynolds and his beloved pet “Ollie” by his side. He was born November 27, 1927 in Galey, Oklahoma. C.E. married the love of his life, Wynonna Lee Griffith and they enjoyed 70 years together of love and laughter. He served in the US Army Korea. C.E. attended college for Architectural Design and Drafting. He would go on to own and operate his own company, Griffith Furniture Refinishing, Repair, & Antique Restoration.
C.E. would go fishing whenever he could at Lake Overholser. He also enjoyed tending to his apricot and cherry trees, growing grapes and working endlessly in his shop making beautiful projects come back to life for so many people near and far. He had many pecan trees and an abundance of pecans were a promise every year. His beautiful gardens were always shared throughout the family. He grew the best tomatoes you could ever have the pleasure of tasting. He taught his grandchildren wood working and work ethic from very young ages. He spent his days telling stories to his great grandchildren, reading his bible and enjoyed being read to by his great grandson and name sake “Eddie”. He recently went on vacation to Colorado to see the mountains and visit many different sites. He spent his lazy time with his great grandson “Daemyn” watching “Cowboy shows” Texas Ranger and Joel Osteen. He loved spending time with his little spoiled companion “ Ollie”. He was known for his strength and his everlasting love for Wynonna, his wife of 70 years. Never an ill word to say about any person and always a smile or chuckle to greet you with on any given day. His hugs were like a warm blanket filled with comfort and strength, his smile contagious, his stories better than any Hollywood writer could produce. His love for his daughters, son in laws, grandchildren of all generations will never be matched.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wynonna Lee Griffith; daughter, Pamela Sue Haywood; granddaughters, Heather Renee Haywood and Emily C. Camacho; grandson, Jason Rowan; great grandson; Logan Bryan Coffey; and his mother, Vina Hilton.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene & Joe Terry, Debra & Mike Camacho, and Rita Griffith; grandchildren; Nick Rowan & Janine Rowan, Mike Brandon Camacho, Eddie Wayne Harrison & Jessica Harrison, Bryan Coffey & Amy Coffey, LeslieLee Harrison, Trisha Michelle Montoya & Cuco Montoya, and Jennifer Coffey; great grandchildren, Eddie Reynolds & Mara Jolly, Daemyn Reynolds, Austin Walker, Kaytlyn Reynolds, Abby Reynolds, Kianne Harrison, Zachary Terry (Harrison), Eddie McDonald, Jessie Powers, Harley Rowan, Christopher Rowan, Lexi Montoya, Christi Montoya, Angel Montoya, Isaiah Camacho, Kingston Camacho, Langston Camacho, Bryan Reynolds, Emma Reynolds, Corey Reynolds, Mason Reynolds, Clair Reynolds, Angelina Camacho, Adrian Camacho, Alayna Camacho, Jonnie Coffey, Eisha Coffey, Veronica Coffey, Justice Coffey, Heaven & Will, Carla & Dakota, David & Jaycee, and Mary & Claude; great-great grandchildren, Matthew Lee Rogers (Reynolds), Naja Rowan, Angelus, Alton, Samantha, Desiree, Melody, Miles, Autum, Ryken, Roslynn, Ulf, Gracee, Charlee, Everlynn, and Xavier; as well as a host of other family and friends.
