Daniel Richard Fournier

Daniel R. Fournier was born April 6, 1960 in Medford, Massachusetts. He passed away December 27, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Ok. Danny was the youngest of 7 children born to Richard and Gertrude Fournier. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Atlee and husband Erick and three grandchildren Camden, Lukas, and Mila all of Oklahoma City, OK; His four sisters Andrea Meek and husband Gary of Norman, OK, Terry Jirkovsky and husband Sam, of Denver Colorado, Paulette Olive and husband Tony of Phoenix, AZ and Claire Fretwell and husband Ed of Oklahoma City, OK; His Brother Roger Fournier and wife Paulene of Goodland, KS; Nieces and nephews Tracy and Brandy, Samantha and Stephanie, Chris, Rick and Eddy, and Jesse and Sophie. He was preceded in death by his Mother, whom he adored, Gertrude Fournier and Father Richard Fournier, as well as his oldest brother Dick. Danny spent most of his formative years in Oklahoma City, Ok and graduated from Putnam City High School in 1978. Danny was a master carpenter and talented musician/songwriter throughout his life. He also had many wonderful friends through his AA club. He will live forever in the hearts of those who knew him. Memorial services will be held Jan. 18th @ 1:00 pm. at Bill Merritt Funeral Home, 6201 N.W. 39th Expressway, Bethany, Ok. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to local AA Chapters or any Mental Health Awareness group of your choosing.
