Danielle Yazzie

Mrs. Danielle Marie (Jones) Yazzie was born on December 17, 1988 to Robert and Marcia Jones. She grew up with a big loving family that included 2 older brothers and a younger sister. Growing up they shared many adventures and made memories that are still talked about today. Danielle was born in Oklahoma City, moved to New Orleans when she was a year-old and would spend summers in Oklahoma City with her fun loving Honey and Aunt. When she was six years old the family moved back to Oklahoma City where she lived the majority of her life. Danielle was super quiet but once you got to know her, she was the funniest person in the room. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping with her mom and sister and traveling with her family, husband and children. She was a loving wife, a caring daughter, supportive sister, fun aunt BUT being a mom is where she shined the most. Danielle met, fell in love and married her best friend, Shane and they got to spend many happy and memorable years with one another. Together they brought two beautiful and funny daughters into the world which she would brag about any chance she got. She was so proud to be their mom and was always crafting and completing do it yourself projects for her girls. She departed this earth on January 14, 2022 leaving behind her beloved husband Shane and daughters Vayda and Olivia Yazzie. She is also survived by Grandmother Marilyn Hardeman, Parents Robert Jones and Marcia Jones, siblings Dirk Jones and niece Izabella, Dustin and wife Nisrine Jones and nieces Leyla, Miah and nephew Michael, Darian Jones and sister in law Stephany Jones and nephew Jake. One uncle, Wade and wife Stella Hardeman and one aunt, Vicki husband Rick Walk and children. Her mother in law Merlinda Dixon, spouse Jackerson Howe and father in law Wilbur Yazzie and many other family and friends who loved and cherished her. Danielle was proceeded in death by her grandfather’s Wendell Hardeman and Jerry Jones, Grandmother Sylvia “Honey” Jones and Uncle Wayland Hardeman.

Please join the family in the celebration of life for Danielle. The service will be held January 22, 2022 at 2:00Pm. The location will be at Bill Merritt funeral home located at: 6201 NW 39th Expressway Bethany, Ok 73008.
