Donald Dean Winans, age 84, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 in Oklahoma City. He was born February 17, 1938 in Wells, Kansas to Emmitt and Lucille (Hillery) Winans. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. He married Marilyn Herrold on February 2, 1958 at Tinker Air Force Base. Donald was ornery and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a member of Cherokee Hills Church of Christ and was strong in his Faith. Donald was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donys Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Rance Coulter; grandson, Coleman Foster; great granddaughter, Chloe Monroe; sister, Ruth Maxine; and his much loved dog, Buttons; as well as several nieces, nephews, and church family.
