Erlene Joy Schmidt

Erlene Schmidt went to be face to face with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was a devout student of God’s word and attended Maranatha Bible Doctrine Church faithfully. Erlene was born May 21, 1928 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bea Renfroe and Ethel Ray; two husbands, Eugene Holt and Jerome Schmidt; four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Holt and wife Donna of Yukon, and Phil Holt of Yukon; three grandchildren, Sean Holt of Yukon, Stacie Burt and husband Rocky of Yukon, and Tamla Masters and husband Tim of Lee Summit, MO.; four great grandchildren, Emma and Molly Burt and Logan and Dayton Masters; four step children, Gary, Mike, Denise, and Sherri; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Erlene was a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We all loved her and will miss her.

Erlene, by her faith, claimed the promises of God, completed the course set in front of her and lead by her positive volition to God’s word, gained the prize as a Sarah’s Daughter. Job well done! See you!

A Memorial service will be held 11am Friday, December 15, 2017 at Maranatha Bible Doctrine Church.
