Jim exited his physical life on March 1, 2017 to enter his eternal life in heaven. He died of a physically broken heart but his heart was strong spiritually. Jim was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Charles and Elaine Russell on July 27, 1956. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1975 and then joined the Army. After the Army he married Brenda (Melvin) Russell. Jim and Brenda spent 36 wonderful years together. He retired from Temtrol Inc. after 28 years due to health problems. Jim is survived by his wife Brenda, his father; Charles Russell of Blackwell, Oklahoma, two sons; Brian and fiancée Stacey and Sean and wife Kathy all of Yukon, Oklahoma. Also, one granddaughter; Heather and two sisters; Pam (Rich) Cantillon of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Sherri (Chad) Davis of Yukon, Oklahoma and he leaves a host of other family members. He is preceded in death by his mother Elaine, one sister; Teri and one granddaughter; Hannah. We would like to thank everyone at Integris Hospice, Integris Advanced CHF, Oklahoma Heart Hospital and Mercy Home Health for all their love and care to Jim through the past 10 years.
