Janey JoAnn Little

Janey JoAnn Little passed away on August 28, 2024 in Oklahoma City at the age of 78. She was born August 5, 1946 in McAlester, OK to Frederick Eugene and Georgia Lee Taylor. Janey moved back to Oklahoma City from Fort Worth, TX about 30 years ago. In her early work life, she worked for the phone company where she started as a switchboard operator. She retired from Olan Mills in the late 1990’s having been a customer service manager. Janey had a caring heart and took care of several family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Jesse Taylor and James Kirk as well as 2 sisters, Vera Wilson and Wanda Doctorman. She is survived by her son, James Wood and his wife, Jennifer, Stepchildren, Linda Willard and Oren Little, 6 grandchildren, Andy, Tiffany, Amber, Alex, Chris and Faith, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well has her beloved dogs.

A visitation for Janey will be held Monday, September 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Merritt

Funeral Service, Bethany, Oklahoma.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel at 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008 with a graveside service following at the Mustang Cemetery.
