Louis Leon Clay passed away February 22, 2017 at his home at the age of 90. He was born September 22, 1926 in Rush Springs, OK to Louie Andrew and Alpha Irene Cast Clay. Louie loved to tell corny jokes, fish and was an excellent writer. He pastored churches in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, California and Louisiana. He was a missionary with the Southern Baptist Convention and loved working with children. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, 10 siblings, his first wife, Mary Jean and a daughter Deborah Sue Clay. He is survived by his wife, Marta, son, Paul Clay of Reno, NV and granddaughter, Rachel Clay of the home.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Bill Merritt Chapel in Bethany.
