Marilyn’s greatest love was her husband of 64 years, Don Winans. They were married on February 2, 1958. They spent their young adult years only having eyes for each other. That changed in 1969 when introduced to their little girl, Stacy Dawn. She became their melting pot. This power couple transitioned into the parenting role with such ease and unconditional love. They were proud to be her Mom and Dad and then finally Ma Ma and Grandpa to Coleman Michael.
Marilyn is preceded by her parents Ivan and Rubye Herrold, husband Don Winans, siblings Barbara, Carolyn, Ralph, Ivan and Lola Mae.
She leaves to carry on her memory her daughter Stacy Coulter and husband Rance; grandson Coleman Foster; great granddaughter Chole Monroe; siblings Bonnie and Darlene, and life-long beloved pet, Buttons.
The family would like to say a special thank you for all of the help with Marilyn during her illness and final days to Mike Barrett, Janet Brady and Deena Laden.
Coleman Michael—I want you to know all of your help is what got me through this. I could not have done it alone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Dad would be proud of us.
A graveside service for Marilyn will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7500 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73132.
