She was born on April 14, 1920 in Oklahoma City, Ok. She married William J “Stubby” Sterbenz on February 22, 1936, and had two sons Danny Joe and Kenneth Eugene. Mary had three grandchildren, Troy and Danny Ray Sterbenz, and Rene’ Bellamy. She was preceded in death by her husband, eldest son Danny Joe, and grandson Troy.
Mary is survived by her loving son Kenneth and his wife Mary of Yukon, OK., grandson Danny Ray of Tulsa, Ok., Rene’ Bellamy and her husband Michael of New Braunfels, TX., as well as a great grandson Christian and great great granddaughter Ashtyn of Tulsa. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects at Bill Merritt Funeral Services of 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway in Bethany on Sunday, September 23rd from noon until 8 P.M. A Memorial service will take place on Monday, September 24th at 11 A.M. in the chapel at Bill Merritt’s. Mary will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 S.W. 104th St., Oklahoma City.
