Vergie is preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Valerie Saunders. She was well known in the community because of her sales abilities and set many records. Vergie was the first person to retire from the Glamour Shots Company. She loved to travel the world with her girlfriends and dance. While finding time to do what she loved doing, she also made time to crochet items and donate them to raise money for our veterans.

Vergie is survived by sons: Ronald (Bobbie) Saunders of Pinellas Park, Florida, Stephen (Debbie) Saunders of Ardmore, Oklahoma and daughter Vanessa (Rex) Huckeby of Edmond, Oklahoma. She also leaves to cherish the memory of her life grandchildren; Rosemary Morrison, Angela Newburg, Stephen and Aaron Saunders, Jessica Jacome, Tim, Mike, Derek and Laura Huckeby, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bill Merritt Funeral Home, Bethany, Oklahoma on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. with funeral services at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 10:00 a.m . Saturday, November 15, 2011 with interment to follow.
