Richard "Rick" Fine

Richard “Rick” Arlie Fine was born December 31, 1957 in Oklahoma City, OK to Ronald and Shirley Fine as the youngest of four children. He passed away at the age of 65 on Thursday, September 28, 2023 after battling liver cancer.

Rick loved to travel, but always remained in his hometown of OKC. He attended Northwest Classen High School where he met the love of his life, Rozella Marie Fine (Davis). They were wed on September 4, 1981.

Rick worked for the family business, Emerald, for several years before taking on various occupations. He ultimately found that his purpose was to live a life of service and make himself a resource and refuge to those in need. He was someone you could truly lean on through hard times.

Rick's favorite activities from childhood through adulthood included being outdoors. He loved to hunt, play baseball, go shooting, and, most of all, go fishing. He felt most at peace in nature where he could appreciate the beauty of his surroundings and feel a connection with his Creator.

Richard is survived by his four children, Jennifer Johnson, Anthony, Rikki, and Spencer Fine; four grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Johnson, Lilliann Warren, and Alec Fine; and his siblings, Rebecca, Ronald, and Judith Fine. He also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his spouse Rozie and his parents Ronald and Shirley Fine, as well as other beloved family and friends.

A celebration of life for Rick will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK.
