Richard Alexander Woods

Richard “Rich” Alexander Woods 41, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born July 29, 1975 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Richard attended Putnam City Schools and last attended Putnam City West. He was employed by Jump Transportation as a heavy haul truck driver. Richard earned his CDL from Central Tech Truck Drivers Training and a certificate in welding from Canadian Valley Technology Center. For Richard his greatest achievements are his two daughters and grandson. He enjoyed karaoke, motorcycles, frisbee golf and grilling and would do any of these activities whenever he had a chance. Richard leaves behind to cherish the memories of his life, daughters; Alexsis Rae Woods of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Alyssa Renee Woods of Yukon, Oklahoma grandson; Monty James Woods, parents; David Richard (Glenda) Woods, and Lawave (Tony) Urbanek of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a sister; Brandi L. Childers and her fiancé James Phipps of Blanchard, Oklahoma, one niece and two nephews. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel in Bethany, Oklahoma.
