Maria was the beloved wife of the late John F. Barbuto, and her life was rooted in the enduring strength of family. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda N. Larnaitis, son-in-law, Brandon A. Larnaitis, and her cherished grandson, John Larnaitis, age 2.
Those closest to Maria knew her as a woman of vibrant spirit, someone who brought warmth and presence to the rooms she entered. She expressed her care in ways both thoughtful and familiar—through the comfort of a shared meal, the joy of a favorite song, and the simple pleasure of time spent together.
Maria took great pride in the traditions she kept and the hospitality she offered. A wonderful cook, she was especially known for her Sunday gravy and her Christmas Eve fish course. She also enjoyed red wine, especially her husband’s homemade wine, a small but meaningful connection to the life they built together.
She found happiness in the beach, in music that lifted the heart—doo whoop, Rod Stewart, and disco among her favorites—and in the delight of a good day of shopping, particularly at TJ Maxx. Nothing however gave her more pleasure than being a Grandma to her grandson John.
