I have just learned of the passing of Harry Reginald Collins . He was my dear friend , as we served arm in arm in the USAF from 1952 to 1956 . We remained close friends throughout the years following our discharge from the military service . With sorrow and sadness in my heart , I will always remember you as a friend , lovable husband , father , and a grandfather . May you Rest In Peace , and I will always cherish the wonderful times that we spent together .. Sincerely , Irving

    You won't know me, but I knew your late husband, Reg.  During the summers of 1966 and 1967, while I was home from college, I worked as a 'mechanic's helper' for Otis Elevator Co.  I was able to work with Reg and was always impressed with his strong character and goodness. Ever friendly and helpful he was always there to assist me, a novice at everything, with sage advice and wisdom.  I saw him once again in the late 70' or early 80's at a rest stop in Georgia, he had pulled in on his way south and we had pulled in at nearly the same time.  It was like we had never been out of touch, we just picked up where we left off. 
      I was recently, within the past week, telling my son in law and daughter about Reg and the type of person he was . . . please accept my prayers of comfort and my words of praise for your husband.
