Margaret (Rogers) Burke passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born August 7, 1925 to Frank and Elizabeth Rogers. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Burke in 1995; brothers, Anthony (Junior) and Ferdinand (Neno) Rogers. She is survived by her children, Edward and Virgie Burke, Del Rio, TX; Marie Lord, Conklin; Timothy and Barbara Burke, Endwell; Steve and Lee Ann Burke, Copperas Cove, TX; Dave and Lisa Burke, Kuna, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Before her retirement, Margaret owned and operated a beauty salon on the south side of Binghamton. She was a former member of Christ the King Church in Endwell.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the James v. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 4 – 7 PM.
