Marilyn G. Shaffer of Binghamton, 66, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013 at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her two sisters, Barbara and Beverly; a brother, Robert; and several other family members. Marilyn is survived by her four sons, John Stanley of Newark Valley, Jody and Sue Stanley of Great Bend, PA, Jeffrey and Trish Stanley of Sacramento, CA, William and Amy House of Hallstead, PA; grandchildren, Heather, Natasha, Sean, Craig, Alexa, Megan, Casey, Hannah and Jeffrey Jr.; a brother, Morris Dobell of Endicott; brothers-in-law, Clifford Smith and Ronald Williams; also several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was an avid facebook and farmville enthusiast. She appreciated the generosity and kindness of her numerous neighbors. Marilyn was a fun, loving and caring person and will be dearly missed by many. Marilyn's family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home.
