Andrew Charles Willson

Born July 18, 1956 in Montgomery, Al. He was the son of the late

Ernest and Martha Willson. He moved to Birmingham early in his life and

remained there except for his college years. He was a graduate of

Mountain Brook High School.

Charles is survived by his sister Teague Delmas (Brian), ex-wife Pam,

niece Caitlin Delmas, nephews Chris Delmas (Viki), Andrew Delmas (Emily)

and great nieces and nephews Brody, Braelyn, Lucy, Joe, and Franklin.

Charles was a talented athlete. In high school he won many gymnastic

competitions and earned a gymnastic scholarship to Memphis State. As

an adult he enjoyed participating in racquet ball and tennis.

In addition to sports, Charles loved all dogs especially his several border

collies.

All of his life he was a devout Christian and attended several local

churches.

Visitation will be held at Rideouts Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Rd.,

Homewood Al. , on Friday June 21, 2024 from 5 till 7. A grave side service

will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery on Saturday June 22,

2024 at11:00.
