Arthur Gray Powell III

Arthur Gray Powell III of Birmingham, AL passed away on February 25th, 2023. He is survived by his children, Addison Owens (Neal), Winston Powell, and Gray Powell, and his wife Kenny Powell. He is also survived by his mother Marguerite Wood and his sisters Frances Bryan (Chuck) and Marguerite McCowan (Chad). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Bryan, Courtney Bryan, and Taylor Bryan, as well as Will McCowan and Mac McCowan. Arthur was an incredible father and friend. He had a great sense of humor and was quick to laugh. His passion in life was his family and friends. He loved spending time on the farm with his dog, eating good food, drinking good wine, and telling tall tales. He was the first call for his friends in times of need, and he never hesitated to help. He was so deeply loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please send gifts to The WellHouse: A Place of Grace.

There will be a visitation at St Luke Episcopal Church located at 3736 Montrose Rd. Mountainbrook, AL. 35213 on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 2-3pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm.
