Clifford Lee Culpepper of Hoover passed away April 12, 2024 at home with family by his side at the age of 71. Growing up he attended West End High School and proudly played football at Vanderbilt University. He is survived by his wife Mary Habshey Culpepper, daughter Laura Culpepper Giles (Richard), granddaughter Leia Catherine Giles, brother Clarence Hall Culpepper (Ellie), aunt Nancy Waters Alexander (Larry), nieces Kristin Poutre and Kerri Guthrie. He will also be missed by his step-children Christy Rafferty (Ryan), Tommy Alfano (Vanessa), Nicole Maple (Mike), and Natalie Bahakel (Mark), a host of step-grandchildren, and many other extended family members and friends.
