Debby was born in Birmingham, Alabama on February 3,1956 to Gerald (Gashie) Dorsky and Marylyn Goldberg Dorsky. Debby grew up in Mountain Brook (Class of 1974) and was a consistent volunteer and pillar in the Jewish community. She also led Community Kitchens for over a decade.
She loved her kids more than anything and her favorite thing to do was spend time with them. She loved caring for people, through food especially, but liked to be behind the scenes. If you were funny enough, you even got to hear her contagious laugh and see her bright smile.
Debby was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Marylyn Dorsky and sister, Janet Dorsky. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Blake) Thomas, her daughter, Kristen Elizabeth Thomas, and her sisters Cathy Dorsky Rogoff(Lee) and Sue Dorsky.
