Wilson, Elizabeth Ann “Liz” (Desmond), age 86, of Birmingham, Alabama went to her Lord, Jesus Christ, Sunday, August 25, 2024. Liz was a true believer in Christ and wrote daily affirmations and Scriptures in her journal. Her favorite evangelist was Charles Stanley and in her early years, she attended Crestway Baptist Church where she sang in the choir with her daughter. She also enjoyed music, movies and loved old westerns and spending time with her family. Liz is survived by her remaining four children; son, William David Desmond; son, Gregory Wayne Desmond; son, John Richard Desmond; daughter, Janiece Renee Desmond; daughter in law, Tammy Desmond; daughter in law, Laura Desmond and adopted daughter, Leigh Ann Clem. She is also survived by many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. No funeral arrangements are scheduled.
