Harrison, Emily Stewart, age 93, died December 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, William Baxter Stewart; mother, Vena Hunt Stewart; brother, Cecil L. Stewart; and stepdaughter, Marianne Hobart. She was born June 27, 1918 in Jacksonville, FL and lived in Waycross, GA until she was 9 years old. She moved to Birmingham and graduated from Woodlawn High School. She was a registrar at Continental Commercial College and Southern Junior College. She was a member of Shades Valley Lutheran Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, friends at Shades Valley Lutheran Church and workers and friends at Greenbriar Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 12:00 PM at the Last Supper Mausoleum at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, Trussville.
