Mary Tsimpides Jebeles passed away August 12, 2023. She was born to Greek immigrants in Birmingham, Alabama and was proud of her Greek heritage. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She enjoyed cooking, thrifting and took great joy in spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom G, Jebeles, parents: George and Theoharie Tsimpides, brothers: Andrew Tsimpides, Lycurgus Tsiimpides, and Teddy Tsimpides, sisters: Lillie Babakitis, Christine Tsimpides and Cleo Costas. Left to cherish the memory of their Aunt Mary are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 307 19th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35233. Following the visitation will be a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Holy Trinity Holy Cross, 307 19th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
