SUPER Mom & Grandmother

“Annabelle”, 86, a lifelong resident of Belleville, passed away suddenly on May 8. She lived in the home built by her grandfather, Michael Maioran, an activist for Silver Lake in the 1920’s. A proud resident, she carried on that tradition, actively committed to preserving Silver Lake.

Youngest of five children of Albert Ursi and Geraldine (Jessie) Ursi, granddaughter of Francis Copeck, midwife to hundreds of Belleville-Newark residents.

Loving mother of Judith Giacobbe and Mark and his wife Nancy (Fasso). Beloved grandmother of Gandalf and his wife Becky, Nicole, Mark Vincent, Danielle, Nicholas, Anthony, & Jenna. Treasured great-grandmother of Jacob and Julia.

Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed. She is now reunited with her two children, Nicholas and Elizabeth. Predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Anthony “Blocchi.”

Visitation will be held Monday, 5/12 from 4pm-8pm @ Zarro Funeral Home (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison Street, Bloomfield, NJ. Mass will be held 5/13 @ St Anthony’s Church, 63 Franklin Street, Belleville, NJ @ 10:30 am. Burial will follow @ Gate of Heaven, East Hanover.
