Beniamino Del Mauro

Benny Del Mauro, 69, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Benny was born in Italy. He came to the U.S. at the age of 16, lived in Newark most of his life before moving to Belleville 20 years ago. Before his retirement he was a mason for many years and long time member of the Intermezzio Club.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 3-7 pm at the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. The funeral is on Monday, assembling at 9:15 am followed by a Mass at 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The burial is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover.

Benny is survived by his loving children and their spouses, Eugene and Annette Del Mauro, Anthony and Annette Del Mauro, Ida and Pat Barbone, Roxanne and John Serrano and Nicky and Karen Del Mauro; he shared his heart and home with Nickie Carselda for 20 years; siblings, Guidono Del Mauro, Rosa Methuen, Carmella Pelaggi, and Nicholas Del Mauro; cherished grandchildrem, Jonathan, Michael, Alexa, Robert, Nicole, Gina, Francesca, Joseph, Anthony, Dominique, Gianna and Robert Jr. He was predeceased by his brother, Leo Del Mauro.
