

. He was born in Belleville to the late Anthony and Concetta Zecca and lived in Silver Lake, Belleville all of his life.
Mr. Zecca was with the Belleville Police Department for 31 years before retiring as a Captain in 1988. He was a lifelong member of The Belleville PBA Local 28, a member of the Belleville Amvet’s, and the 11th Street Social Club. “NuNu” was an alter server as a boy for St. Anthony’s Church, an Avid fan of Atlantic city trips, and loved taking his family on motor home trips around the country.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred (DeMayo); devoted children, Thomas and his wife Rebecca, and Marianne Zecca; loving granddaughter, Marissa Sparno; cherished Siblings, Geraldine DeJackmo, Michael Zecca, Theresa Guarino, and Rose Marie Minichini; and many loving nieces and nephews. Carmine is pre-deceased by his brothers Joseph, Anthony, and Ralph Zecca
Visitation will be on Sunday from 7-9 PM & Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. At the Zarro Funeral Home,(www.zarrofuneralhome.net) 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 9:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Anthony’s Church, Belleville thence to Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
