

Frank ”Cheech” Torlucci , 73, of Scotch Plains, born and raised in Newark, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net) 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Thursday at 9:00 am followed by a mass at 11:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 157 Martine Ave, Scotch, Plains. The entombment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave., Colonia. Visitation is on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Cerebral Palsy League Adult Program, 61 Myrtle St., Cranford, NJ 07016. Frank devoted his life to creating awareness and fund raising for cerebral palsy programs that played an important part in his daughter’s life.
Frank was the vice president of Corporate Development of West Orange in manufacturing silk screen printing. He served as a board member and President of the PTA of the NJ Institute of Disabilities, also a PTA member at CP League Adult Program, Cranford and a member of Hillside Unico.
Surviving are his loving wife of 35 years, Liliana (nee Egas), devoted son, Frank Torlucci III and his fiancé, Lisa and her daughter Allie; cherished daughter, Jennifer; dear sister, Angela Carell; as well as his dog, Bella. He is predeceased by his parents, Vera (Macera) and Frank Torlucci Sr., and siblings, Ralph Torlucci and Lucille Pariso.
