

Duke who was known to be hanging out on the corner of Newark Ave. & Naples Ave. worked for Faber Castell Co. in Newark for 35 years in the shipping and receiving department before retiring. When he wasn’t gardening in his yard Duke was listening to Frank Sinatra or watching Old time movies which he loved. He also loved to be a part of the St. Gerard Feast each year at St. Lucy’s Church in Newark.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 - 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, ( www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Wednesday at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am at the Funeral Home. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Sessa; Sons, Anthony and his wife Danielle and Frank Sessa; Grandaughter, Emily Marette; Sister Carmella Sessa and many loving cousins, nieces & nephews. Duke is predeceased by his brother Private Frank Sessa, and sister Rita Sessa. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in his honor.
